About Me

Hello and welcome to my photo blog.

I am an amateur photographer from Cleethorpes in North East Lincolnshire. I have been taking photographs since I was a kid, following in my dads footsteps (see his blog here), although it has only been in more recent years that I have taken it more seriously.
I am a member of Cleethorpes Camera Club, where I’m currently the competition secretary for the Friday night group (we have a number of sections at CCC catering for all interests and capabilities).

My photographic interests are varied although I have been doing a lot more Street Photography, Documentary and Portrait photography in recent times. I do like to play with my images in Photoshop and enjoy creating composites.
I have recently started to do photography talks to other camera clubs in the region, which I find enjoyable.

I have recently gained my CPAGB with PDIs and gained my LRPS a few years back after taking a HNC course in digital imaging.
I have been entering photographic exhibitions for the last 2 years both the national (BPE) exhibitions and international (FIAP) exhibitions and have gained a BPE3* and EFIAP awards from these organisations.

I hope you enjoy viewing my images, as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
